This set by Ertl, was released in limited markets for only a few months in 1984. Shortly after it was released, the decision was made to phase out Mayor McCheese and Officer Big Mac. The set was pulled, and replaced with different packaging and Birdie (Birdy) replaced Mayor Mc Cheese. Set in this packaging with Mayor McCheese is rare and almost impossible to find. While this is currently the best price this set has ever been listed for online, it will definitely increase in value and cost. As such, availability will be limited.
