Vintage Faux Carnival Glass Bead Clip Earrings Iridescent Peacock Blue
Purple Green Iridescence
Cluster Round Beads
Gold Silver End Caps
Luminescent
Art Deco Style Clipbacks

This is a pair of vintage “Peacock” simulated carnival glass bead earrings with a beautiful iridescence to them. The cluster of beads have hues of purple, green, gold, pink and blue and they have a wonderful sparkle to them, they change color with every movement. The color reminds me of gasoline or oil on water with the colors of the rainbow swirling against the dark background. The beads are black and only the top of the beads that face front are coated with a luminescent Aurora Borealis color that mimics carnival glass. The domed cluster of beads looks like a bunch of grapes with the purple hues. The beads have a ruffled style of gold toned end caps that really make the beads stand out. Each earring measures approximately 1 1/2 inches long and 1 inch wide. These are most likely from the 1950s or 1960s.

These are in excellent vintage condition with age appropriate finish loss or wear on the clip backs. They are lightweight and brilliantly colored. The earrings are wired with what looks like a nylon filament of some type. They are unsigned, but definitely designer quality.

This pair of earrings would make a great addition to your collection of vintage jewelry. They would be perfect with that little black dress or your favorite pair of jeans.
