This wooden handcrafted carved Buddha has great detail and workmanship. It measures approximately 3 inches wide, 3 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches deep. Many people believe that rubbing the stomach of the Buddha brings good fortune and luck. I'm not sure of the type of wood used, it may be Saur Wood or Sugar Wood. This was most likely created in Indonesia. I have not seen another one quite like it. Since it is hand carved it is a one of a kind piece of artwork.

It is in excellent vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. There are no chips or cracks. It has been sitting on a shelf for a number of years, I lightly cleaned it, but did not polish the wood. I will leave that up to you if you so desire to do so.

It would be a great addition to your Feng Shui design for good luck, happiness, good health and success. The laughing Buddha can be a decorative piece for your living room or entry way. The most popular place to put the Buddha is opposite the main door of the living room so the first thing you see upon entering the house is the Buddha.
