Vintage Johnson Brothers Gretchen-Green Oval Serving Platter.  This discontinued pattern was manufactured from 1974-1978.  It has pretty yellow and red flowers with green leaves around the platter border.  The background is a light tan color.

It measures 12-1/8 inches long and 9-1/2 inches wide.  It is of substantial weight as with most Johnson Brothers dinnerware.    

The bottom is stamped in green with Staffordshire Old Granite Made in England by Johnson Bros. Genuine Hand Engraving All Decoration Under The Glaze Detergent & Acid Resisting Colour Gretchen.

This oval serving platter is in beautiful vintage condition with no chips or cracks and very minimal signs of use or wear.

Great addition to your Gretchen-Green dinnerware set.
