seaside*collectibles is pleased to bring you the first issue ornament from the HALLMARK KEEPSAKE ORNAMENT COLLECTION. The series was introduced in 1996 and was called the "Dolls of the World." The "Dolls of the World" series featured BARBIE® ornaments representing Native American Barbie (1996), Chinese Barbie (1997) Mexican Barbie (1998) and the final ornament in series Russian Barbie (1999).
"Internationally known for her charm and style BARBIE® doll proudly wears the fashions of many lands." (from display box). The Native American Barbie™ was introduced to be the FIRST in the series and is modeled after the special Barbie™ doll series that proved quite popular in the 1980's which featured fashions representing the heritage of other lands.
She is wearing a traditional dress patterned after authentic buckskin clothing and shoulder bag with beaded accents. The detailing is amazing.

Name: KEEPSAKE ORNAMENT - NATIVE AMERICAN BARBIE - Dolls of the World. NEW Collector's Series.
Materials: Hard Plastic. Metal hoop at top of head for hanging. Stands freely without support. Hand painted features.
Detailed Condition: MIB - MINT IN BOX, Never displayed. Original box is Included - also in near mint condition. Outside, the original retail price tab is present and reads: $14.95. Internally, the ornament is wrapped in protective plastic bag. Only removed from box for inspection and photographs.
Actual photos of ornament are provided. Since each Hallmark ornament is hand painted -- the details vary from ornament to ornament. This ornament is from an Hallmark collector whom hand picks (for quality) all the ornaments in their collection.
