This is the Free-Westinghouse Free and New Home buttonholer sewing machine attachment, in its original box. It dates back to the 1950s.

It comes with five (5) templates for making buttonholes: 5/8" 1/2",1 1/16" keyhole (two (2) of those) ,13/16" and 5/16”.It also comes with a tool (see photo).

The buttonholer comes also in original box has some tear and discolorations with two plates and one screw. Suffice to say it shows some signs of wear such as scratches. The box is faded and has wear along the edges.

A terrific, vintage working sewing accessory!
