Description: A nice vintage tin candy mold in the shape of a beautiful proud rooster standing. This is a mold to make rooster shaped chocolate or candy. The mold shows good details of the rooster. Look at the beak, the eyes, the comb, the claws, and the details of the feathers throughout. The rooster is standing on what looks like a little round hill with grass. The mold is composed of two halves which are held together with clips. The two halves stay together with the aid of two clips that are pushed over the edge of the two halves. It opens by removing the clips to reveal a backwards image of the rooster. The mold shows evidence of light wear and is fairly soiled especially on the outside. The inside is mostly clean with minor signs of oxidation. The edge of the piece is stamped with the words "Made in Germany" and "Van Emden New York" on one of the two halves on the flat surfaces near the edge. One of the two clips is also marked Made in Germany. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
