ARBUTUS
Organic Arbutus or Koumaria Honey is collected from the nectar secretions of spring Kumaria (Arbutus Unedo)
and is a product with a very high nutritional value and is one of the best options for toning the body.
It has a characteristic very full bitter taste & strong with aromatic notes of bitter caramel that is liked by demanding consumers,
intense distinctive earthy aroma and a special dark copper color while its crystallization
takes place very quickly (2-4 months from its collection).
A special honey straight from the ravines and the verdant slopes of
Mount Parnon in the Southeastern Peloponnese at an altitude of 200m. - 800m.
Arbutus honey starts to be collected in this pristine area from April to the end of May and
is the first production of the year and is collected with "fury" by the bees.
After harvesting, it is carefully filtered and packaged in a period not exceeding one month from its collection
in modern facilities directly in glass jars, then stored in a dark, dry and stable place
at a low temperature, ready to be consumed as offered. the rich Greek nature!
