WINARD VINTAGE 1/12k GF CIRCLE PIN / EYEGLASS HOLDER EUC

WINARD JEWELRY CO. was one of the premier costume and fine jewelry establishments in mid century America. It was known for fine gold jewelry sold in the best stores in the 1940’s and 1950’s. It closed in the 1950’s.

This piece is marked 1/12K GF. 

IT IS A DOUBLE CIRCLE PIN - Measures 1 1/4 x1 1/8” and weighs 6.1 grams.  

It has a smooth outer circle which is overlayed by a raised coiled spring-like design inner/top circle.  

To add to the character there are two juxtaposed similar design band shaped small rings extending around the top of this interesting pin.  What comes to mind is his and her wedding bands. 

It is timeless but probably dates from the 1950’s. It has many artistic and stylistic meanings. It will get noticed. 

Its open inside diameter would serve as a great eyeglass holder for your Versace, Channel, or Gucci readers. (Might even hold your ear phones)

An elegant accessory for that evening out.  The pin and clasp function as they should and the finish looks like new.
