TALL STRAWFLOWER MIX aka Paper Daisy. An amazing array of colors! Strawflower (Bracteantha bracteatum) yields bright — 1 1/2 inch wide — daisy-like blooms on long stems that are grown almost extensively for fresh cut flowers or dried bouquets. This popular mix, also known as everlastings, includes many vibrant colors that are attractive to bees and butterflies. (Annual, 24-36? tall) Everlastings are not fussy and will tolerate most growing conditions providing they receive plenty of sun. Easy to grow, just broadcast and gently rake or tamp to a depth of 1/8 inch deep — barely cover! Space seedlings 8- to 10-inches apart and mulch to conserve moisture and prevent weeds. Harvest stems and papery blossoms as needed using garden snips. Cut flowers will keep their color when dried. To dry, tie in small bundles and hang upside down in a well-ventilated, dark room. Also does well in containers, widow boxes, baskets. Very easy to grow from seed. 400+ Seeds per order. Thank You.
