ATQ VTG Toleware Hand Stenciled Black Oval Wood Bowl & Metal Scoop-Signed 8.5”W.

This is a vintage toleware hand painted and stenciled wood bowl and matching small metal scoop. The bowl has a fruit and flower motif in tones of silver, gold and copper, is accented with a scalloped, gold painted boarder around the rim, and is signed by the artist. The accompanying scoop is also finely decorated. Both pieces are in very good to excellent vintage condition. Based upon the condition of the paint and the general age of the bowl, it is a well-kept, old piece. There are a few fine scratch marks on the bowl and and the clear sealer has worn a bit, but nothing of great consequence. No paint chips or wood warping. This charming, rustic, farmhouse style bowl and scoop can simply be displayed on its own or used to serve unshelled nuts, hold seasonal decor such as potpourri and pinecones.
