This is a beautiful pair of Sterling Silver Post Earrings marked A 925 and Thailand. These oval bezel set polished golden brown Tiger's Eye gemstone cabochons are each surrounded by a lovely rope and ball motif with an intricate pattern. Tiger's Eye is a planetary rock or stone for Gemini (May 21 – June 20) and is one of the gemstones, along with Lapis Lazuli that is a recommended stone for the ninth wedding anniversary. It is a member of the quartz group. Each earring measures approximately 1 inch long and ¾ of an inch wide. The combined weight is .4 ounces on my postage scale, which converts to 11.34 grams. These are probably from the 1980s.

These earrings are in great vintage condition as you can see by the enlarged photographs. I have not polished them, they have a lovely shine and a slight patina that only comes with age that helps bring out the details in the ball accents and rope design. The stones have a lovely changeable silky golden luster to them.

These simple and elegant earrings would look great with a dressy outfit or your favorite pair of jeans. They are the perfect addition to any wardrobe.
