I have created an 8" (but fit smaller because of the thickness of the beads) beaded bracelet using a metal cord bracelet base with a snap together magnetic clasp. These actual fit inside the 2 pieces for more strength. Some 5mm silver plate metal beads.

This one is made up of some pretty 9mm green glass balls, evil eye blue white dot clear green tube glass beads, about 8mm x 16mm. 5mm Silver Plate balls. Fit to about 7" wrist.
