1930's Undated Vintage Real Photo Postcard QSL Card old Ham Radio
 
Unique Real Photo Postcard features large photograph of the senders Amateur Radio Ham Equipment, with a smaller inset photo of the sender.
 
Although the card is not dated or postmarked, you can tell by the type of equipment and the surroundings in the room the photo was taken in, that is was the early 1930's
 
We had a lot of fun finding all the little nuances in the photograph, from the pull down shade over the curtains, the style of wallpaper, the stack of well worn magazines piled under the desk, and even the style of the desk and drawer pulls, and what most likely is a framed Radio Operators License on the wall.
 
The small inset photo of the man in the bottom left corner, is also a good indication of the age (check out the hair cut and hair style).
 
There is no writing on the card other than the Ham Radio call letters "W2AEW" written across the top left corner. The back (address side is also blank with no writing).
 
CONDITION: Although this photo postcard has sustained some wear and damage, it is still a treasure trove of historical information. Looking at the front (photo side) of the QSL Card, there is a small dot in the top right corner, even under magnifying glass it appears to be a pin hole, but it does not appear on the back side of the card.
There is a pinhole in the top center, which sustained some damage around that area, and a small ding along the center bottom edge, from a thumbtack ("push pins" did not exist in those days). The bottom left corner has a crease, although not torn and intact. The remaining three corners show very slight signs of wear, and are undamaged. 
Both the front and back does have some smudging, probably dust and dirt collected from being displayed.
