The binding required one to carefully rip along perforated edges to reveal the contents of every other page, which has been done by someone. There are some tears and small rips along the edges of some of the pages. This design was intentional by Doyle and to some extent is consistent with his exhibit where he ripped, tore, and re-assembled his film and photographs. There is some wrinkling and signs of handling on the front and back cover. The spine is intact as well as the inside pages, which still look great.
