plastic sleeve over the mechanism keeps coming off making this a step above junk.

ONE PROBLEM WE HAD WITH THE NEW CAR, SEAT BELT DID NOT EXTEND FAR ENOUGH ABOVE SEAT FOR GRAND DAUGHTER TO BUCKLE EASILY. THIS SOLVED THE PROBLEM ! ORDERED ANOTHER FOR THE FRONT SEAT PASSENGER SIDE, TOO !

My wife has an arthritis problem in her hands and picks the grandchildren up from school twice a week. The twins have child seats in the rear but the safety belt anchors are quite difficult to access. These extenders have done the trick and the girls are now able to plug themselves in.
We needed these to make it easier for my wife to strap our five year old twins in their child seats, because my wife has Rheumatoid Arthritis and has painful hands. These extensions do the trick.

In the past I've purchased nearly worthless such devices but this one was perfect.
This makes life much easier when your older to fasten your seat belt.I have no idea why the car manufactures place the seat belt fastner so low down and between the consoles and seat.This at least cures the problem and works really well.
The product I purchased fitted perfectly and made using Child seats much easier without compromising safety. It is well made, solid and a good colour match.
I would definitely recommend the product and the manufacturer.
