Warm Enough for Antarctica -- And I Know

I searched the web for these to replace a pair of glove-mittens I found at Marshall's and which became, kid you not, my favorite daily pair of glomitts on a trip to Antarctica. These appear to be just the same, and I love them. They're super warm and with the open fingertips I can photograph or write, then pull the insulated mitten over my fingers to warm them back up. I drive an open boat for my job where I often get rained on or sprayed with chilly salt water. Even though these are not waterproof, water does not soak through the outer wool and the Thinsulate is super warm. I've had to cut a thumb hole, which these didn't come with, and sew up the edges so they won't fray. They won't last forever with the hard daily use I give them, but for this price I might order a few more pairs for when these wear out.
