This stunning rendition of the king of the jungle is crafted in faceted and un-faceted (smooth) clear crystal with the Lion perched on a frosted crystal rock. The designer did an amazing job capturing the fierceness and raw power in this Lion with his smooth mane accentuated by his piercing red/orange colored crystal eyes; excuse my highly technical color name – I can’t recall the exact name. What sets this piece apart is that to match the majestic nature of the Lion, the packaging was significantly upgraded for this piece compared to anything else in the regular Silver Crystal line. Another unique aspect to this piece is that it was signed by the designer with a diamond tipped engraving pen on the frosted base so that is looks like an etching on the rock. While there are a few for sale on the internet, none were signed. In addition, when looking at pieces to compare please look at the pictures carefully. It angers me to no end that I see so many for sale that are listed as new yet by the picture you can see they have clearly been displayed as they are dusty, dirty, and often nicotine stained. That’s enough for my PSAs for one listing, onto why this piece. This piece is a no brainer, the Lion – the king of the jungle is a great addition or completion to your collection or a magnificent gift for the collector in your life. It makes a great gift not just for the Swarovski collector but for those who have a thing for wild cats, and it also makes an amazing gift for the Leo in your life. It’s also a great gift if you have one of those hard to buy for people in your life that happens to have a lion tattoo taking up significant real-estate on their body. This Lion with its’ positioning and pose has always reminded me of the lion from the movie The Lion King. The Lion is BNIB, with certificate and has only been out for signing and his photo-shoot.
