Is there a list of artists for silesia plates?

I have been looking for Silesia websites for listings of the artisians that painted the plates.
I see Atwater and a few others.
Can you identify this artist’s name?

It looks like E. Er…meyer or something

Right in front of the “meyer”, it looks like a pair of "f"s like in Hoffmeyer or similar. It’s not Hoffmeyer, I realize, was just using it as an example and hopefully giving someone else an idea.

I do not know of a list of company artists. But your example might not have been painted by a company artist. Certain companies had blanks that were perfect for china painting hobbyists. China painting was popular about [phone number removed]. It was also popular earlier among the rich liesured ladies. Some of the “hoppyists” were extremely talented and some even had cottage industries.
Sorry, long answer without answering the original question.

Well, I can’t read the second one clearly but the first one (with some further research) could be “Hoffmeister” which is connected to the trademark “Meissen” porcelain.

Best of Luck within your continued research.

I agree with Cookbooks2You, it may have been a china hobbyist? But also only a few of the better master china painters would have consistently been allowed to sign their china work, if they were popular and well known and there signature helped sell the china item. As far as a “cottage industry” I’m sure there were lots of artistically talented working class and middle class women at the time painting these plates by piecework at home unknown, unsigned, being paid pennies for their talent. That is probably closer to the real truth.
