Hi everone found a beautiful brooch/pin that I could not help but pick up today. Not very familiar with vintage jewelry but was hoping you all could take a look and let me know if I have priced it fairly, too low, or too high and any suggestions you may have. Not very good at taking pictures but have done my best. Thanks so much!

Sorry….I can’t see it. Your photos are not very clear. :(

Since it is marked 925 sterling, I would suggest polishing and then take new photos. Plus once polished, you will probably be able to read the four letter maker mark on the back and get a better idea of value and age. It IS cute however.

Sorry I cannot tell what it is by your pictures. I have several Jewelry books and if you can post clearer pictures I will try to look it up in my books. Can’t promise I’ll find it but I will look for you.
I hope you don’t mind, I tried to adjust your picture a little but this is as good as I could do.

I agree, photos are not clear enough to get a good feel for the piece but if it is sterling your price isn’t too high at all. It also looks like it might be marcasite rhinestones but again, can’t really tell for sure. Unlike TexasTreasures I wouldn’t polish it, or at least not a heavy cleaning. Many collectors prefer to clean themselves and or prefer the aged patina. I like to just do a light buffing with a good jewelers cloth. Do see if you can’t get some photos that show it more clearly.

Love Gems, you got to go real close to the pin.
Have no (or almost no) background. Fill your lense with the brooch.
Then it might be better to see. :)

Try to get a clear shot(s)…still blurry to me.
Also, crop the photo so you see more pin and less background.
It’s a cat! It should sell ;) especially since it’s silver.
