I didn’t think that HelloKitty has been around long enough to be called vintage. …and the site Monty put up here confirmed that.
I might call it Earlier or Collectible, but certainly not old or vintage.

I have used this following website ~[URL removed]
after the backslash you can type in hello kitty, and it will bring up several items that others have entered, and recieved a value on. Or you just simple enter the items individually.. Good Luck =) Ma’chellee

things that are collectible do not necessarily mean they may not become vintage. To proove that they are not a fad, they must withstand the test of time. This is how beannie babies failed. The value was falsely escalated due to hoarding and not warranted with the test of time. Sort of like a pyramid scheme. Those that jumped on the bandwagon quick made a killing and left many holding the bag of worthless, overpriced collectibles. This does not mean that they are not cherished, coveted, or well loved. But alas have become worthless with time. So in answer to your question; the value is whatever you can get at any given time by anyone who cares to speculate on their future value because they are not vintage having been produced in the mid 1970’s.

Just google it, there really isnt any HK that is ‘vintage’ but it is out there and you can find some of the older items in google.
actually most didnt know about kitty until the late 90s.. and 70s and 80s is often referred to as vintage, just to show a difference from New ones.. care bears and my little pony and strawberry were and still are by far more popular with kids than beanies.. beanise were some sort of grown up child craze..lol
