Where is the best place to research German China (has a mark)?

Can anyone identify this porcelain mark?

This cup was purchased in Germany in 1962. I’ve searched my trademark book and gone online. No luck yet.
Anyone know this mark? Looks like the letters are w and r. Any help would be soooooo appreciated!

W and R is correct – could this be an old Winterling?
I can’t think ad hoc of another German Porcelain company that starts with a W.

Maybe look directly under Winterling… I think they are in Tirschenreuth

Hm, Dresden made finer porcelain, not that thick stuff.
But Rudolf Waechter is a good idea too.

Replacements is the best place to contact regarding china. They always answer emails and phone calls promptly and can track down the most obscure and antique china and service ware. They are excellent and giving appraisal prices as well.
