A buyer messaged me right after a sale stating that he input his address incorrectly. How can I change the address before printing a label? When I go to “Buy shipping,” the incorrect address is automatically populated. I can’t see any way of changing it. Help!

To be protected, ALWAYS use the Paypal address on file (if paid with Paypal).
Using an override (or in this case a mistake) opens you up to a fraud buyer.

I also always gen my labels on Paypal (not here) as misskeech mentioned, Paypal
offers a tiny discount on negotiated commercial pricing for SOME classes compared
to the USPS site. That being said, if you are using a special price mailer like
a Regional Box or a Flat Rate BUBBLE Envelope (that Bonanza STILL does not offer
here as a money saving option (after years of asking for it)), you will find it
necessary to use the USPS website for those special Priority Mailers.

Thanks for the “fraud buyer” comment. I called PayPal, and they agreed. Even though I could have changed the address on PayPal before printing, they said I would lose my Seller Protection. So I had to refund and relist.

This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi @dennycandy,

Sorry to hear about the trouble. As @Atomicdiner mentioned, we always recommend shipping to the address on file with PayPal. Once a purchase is complete, there is no way to edit the address on the order. We recommend canceling this order by refunding the buyer, then re-listing the item so that they can checkout again with the correct address. That way, you won’t run into issues with PayPal for shipping to a different address.

Hope that helps!

Your advice is exactly what I did. Thanks!

You can purchase a label from USPS directly and plug in the tracking number or if the buyer paid with paypal just find there transaction and print a label from from there .

I called PayPal because the same incorrect address is on their shipping label. If I change the address on PayPal, I lose my Seller Protection. Their advice? Cancel, refund, and start over.

or you can go to “paypal ship now” and print a paypal label. sometimes paypal is less than USPS.
