This is an official Bonanza response.

Hi himehime8,
Thanks for asking about PayPal Seller Protection. If a buyer checks out without a PayPal account the transaction may not be eligible if PayPal cannot confirm the address. The payment will show seller protection available/eligible or ineligible on the PP payment receipt to the seller. You can choose to deny payment at that time if you are not comfortable with accepting the payment.
Hope this information is helpful to you!

How will that buyer be paying you? It doesn’t look like you accept Direct Checkout with a credit card, so if the buyer doesn’t have PayPal, the buyer is probably going to use cash or a money order to pay you. If so, then you have the ultimate protection.

If the buyer uses a credit card through PayPal, then the PayPal seller protection policies should still apply to you. And the PayPal buyer protection policies still apply for the buyer.

I have been told by an bonanza staff member to buy a debit card from a local drug store…however to activate it will cost me approx 6.00 and i have been using paypal online since 1999. I really want to start selling on bonanza but it seems all is going their way.As the sellers pay the fees in pay pal why should it matter to bonanza which way they get their money…. Normally in ebay i let there be a small amount in credit so i avoid the fees…EG If i owed $11.16 , i would pay into my paypal account $13.00 just so they will not be on my back…Can anyone help with why i cannot use paypal??? OIO
