Am I the only one who thinks its pretty bad that we have to ask each other these questions instead of getting answers from "the horse's mouth" as it were?

Maybe there should be a separate area or link for website issues that would go to administration. I see so many people asking the same things I or someone else asked as well. If an issue is a problem for a number of folks, shouldn’t it be changed or, at least, explained by someone from the site itself?

1748251 total USERS I remember celebrating 50,000;can’t imagine the nightmare if staff received HELP questions from all our new members. It is very important to research all available help pages and hopefully staff can keep them up-to-date. Welcome to the ranchcomm

don’t think its just new members. Issues that are repeatedly asked must be pertinent. I just don’t think its proper to ask all 1748251 of them why there’s a problem with the site we’re using.

This is the most backwards web site………I’m continually clicking “help” for answers that should be obvious.

Good question Caracy and sorry for any issues you may be experiencing. We have been working on updating our help pages with the most relevant content so you can find what you need. Most features on the site have pop out help tips too.

We try to direct all users to contact our support team directly. You can do so by emailing us directly at [email protected], or you can click on the “Contact” link on the bottom of the page. Having all support requests funnel through our support team helps us track bugs, and resolve your issue in the best possible way, and keep a running tab on features that need attention.

We do have a lot of very helpful Bonanzalers who are always on the Community pages eager to help too (thanks everyone).

But when you use contact at the bottom of the page you get this “If you would like to suggest that we …fill in the blank…, we invite you to do so on our user feedback page found [URL removed]” This is a copy and paste response to my last query.

Help pages would be helpful after all these years…..real help pages.

I have been getting a lot of “whoops” messages when I try to list items or edit items. I have a lot to list but sometimes the site won’t let me, although Bay and Etsy are working just fine.

Just tried to list items after an hour and a half rest. Got thhe “whoops” message on both IE and Firefox, cleared cache etc, no go again, will try again later but it’s getting really old fast!

Thank you!! I’ve been getting “whoops” messages, I try to import images I get a message saying “encountered a problem we’ll check into it shortly”. I have a very nice lady that has been trying to help me but the thing is over half of everything I click on doesn’t work, I can’t message her back to say thank you, half of the profile & edit booth doesn’t work, It wouldn’t let me comment on this page, and doesn’t even let me contact support at bottom of page that was the first thing I did that’s why I’m surfing through here. Be kind of hard to surpass Bay & Etsy when I’m moving merchandise there and struggling here even if some of their policies are screwed up. I bet I wouldn’t have a problem paying if I owed any fees.

There is a contact link for support at the bottom of every page for everyone on Bonanza to report website issues. Not everyone knows that though; newbies are still learning. When they see others post questions here, they do the same.

I just used the contact link at the bottom of the page with no trouble at all- maybe just a temporary glitch?

caracy says: May 26, 2015

Did you get a response? Or just the confirmation of receipt of your request? Several times after giving me an answer I’m referred to the forums, or help, or community. Whatever its called now.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
