Another seller just lost a sale because he didn't think it's important to reply to emails.

OK, I’ve whined about this previously, so this will be my final rant. I promise. But when I ask a simple question about an item in a seller’s booth, I expect a reply. What I get instead is … crickets.

I operate two booths here and if somebody asks about an item I reply even it I know it means losing the sale. Like for example the buyer asks about a feature that the item doesn’t have. But at least I have the courtesy to reply and thank them for visiting my booth.

But that practice doesn’t seem to be very common here. I guess sellers just don’t think that Bonanza generates enough income to bother with potential buyers.

I understand that people don’t always check their email and maybe they only log on to their Bonanza account once a week or so. (Or maybe never.) But still, when there’s a message in your Bonanza inbox and you simply ignore it, well, that tells me you’re not interested in selling or that you would rather cater to the scam artists over at eBay.

I found the same item on Amazon and bought it there.

I agree I also think that some people may forget about their booths here due to inactivity and lack of sales. So maybe they dont see the messages in time. For awhile I barely came here because I barely sell anything here but I do stop by once a day now just in case I get inquirys or sales.
