Anybody else notice something is wrong with the item editor?

I always create new listings in my booth by duplicating old listings and changing the relevant information for the new item. Today I noticed when I duplicate the old item, the new listing loses all the formatting (bold text, text alignment etc.), some item traits, and some words get changed (“this auction” changes to “thissale”) ?!?! And then, after editing the listing, going back to add the formatting back in and saving the new item, it immediately loses the new formatting I just fixed! Is anybody else having the same issue?

Not having any trouble (that is the way it works now)..formats now have to be mobile compliant, which means plain text…

ccmon. Then what explains all the current & active listing on Bonanza which don’t have plain text in their listing?

Have you looked at them on mobile..they are not bold…listings made before updates are changed in their feeds to remove formatting. New listings will not have to be changed

Yes, noticed this morning, since you mentioned it. Bold and italic gone, colors still there. Font and text size seem to still be in place. If that’s the way it’s going to be, because of mobile-compliance, as someone mentioned, that’s ok with me.

I think others have uploaded an image for their product descriptions. It includes all of the image-edited text and style designs that they want for their listings. At least, I think this is how it is done. Have noticed the elaborate design of some descriptions and thought of how I could do that too, if I want to take the time. Seems that those type of images would be mobile-compliant just as the product images are. Is my assessment correct? Or are these attention-getting, heavily-formatted descriptions done some other way?

templates used for listings will be fine on desktop versions, but will be stripped from for mobile compliance…as of now I do not know if the templates will remain an option here or not…Google wants, so google gets, or your items don’t show

[URL removed] Are you saying that sellers use templates, not images, for the highly-formatted listings with decorative frames, multiple text sizes, formatting and colors? But are the templates completed in an image editing program and uploaded as an image into the product listing text box?

When are the gurus going to fix this. I have not added items of recent however
I was always able to paste from word and it would keep my formatting.
Now it is not working AT ALL and I have tried BOTH Internet Explorer and
Firefox on my desktop with no success. I am talking NEW Item Additions.

It really is a PAIN to need to format individual lines after pasting in the
text and will keep me from listing as many future items if this cant be
corrected. It worked before so please fix it again. I have exhauseed all
versions I used in the past to get this to work.

Yep. Bold text and paragraphs with larger fonts never stick for me. I am new setting up a booth and I have 750 items to list and its not fun doing each listing one by one due to the batch editor bugs and the many bugs just like you’re describing.

I have over 3000 items now and do not look forward to having to reformat/rewrite every one :(
