Are we charged a fee if we use the share button to post on our social media accounts

If we use the Bonanza share button on our listings to share on our social media will we be charged a fee if we make a sell, or, do will need to link our listings on our SM with the referral link so we do not pay a fee for making a sale? Which is the better choice? THANKS!

You only get charged a base rate of 3.5% via social media if the sale is generated that way. If you use your booth referral link, then there is no fee charged.

Free Referral Links

Add your referral code xxxxxxx to the end of the URL for links to your Bonanza booth and items. You can post these links [URL removed] your website, online forums, review sites, social media, or emails. You pay nothing when buyers click through and purchase your items.

Good info!!

I would still like to know the answer, however, if you pay a fee on the shared posts it’s well worth it because of the time you save and the ease of posting to all your social media accounts!

I use my link referal code on facebook and have not had charges for the sales of the items a buyer came in on – as far as I know you pay only the fee for a sale on “buyer direct” or “google shopping” – also any other promotions that are on Bonanza and not via your free referal link

any social media account you have and use the link to sell something there is no charge – if you have a website and use your link there again no fee – you could basically be on every social media site out there and as long as the buyer came in on a your link with the code your not charged a fee

the trick is the code at the end of the link – on the “share” it does not add it in and even if you edit to add it to the link the picture is a link without the code so the buyer would need to click only the link and not the picture

FrogandBear, I will probably contact you personally about using the code when I get ready to promote if you do not mind. Thanks!
