What wacathook says is basically correct.

I personally do not use that high of a percentage..and truthfully at this time of the year, unless you are selling seasonal items, things are going to be slow, but you only pay the extra fee if the items sells due to an advertising click..please note however, if they buy another item in your booth at the same visit, this item will be charged the higher % based on the number of advertising clicks that it has.

Also, if you do not want certain items to go to google shopping, then you can disable the feed on those items (some do not send lower cost items, because they do not think it is worth it)

Update items as a group (batch edit)
Search Optimize
Select items you Do not want to send then
Click [URL removed] Enable (this will stop the selected items from being included in the Google feed and therefore, not include them in advertising)

Suppress GPS [URL removed] Enable Disable

Thanx ccmom for the info, I didn’t realize that you could pick and choose what was advertised.

another great bit of info ill tone my advertising a bit to 12 percent of whatnot thanks!

If I understand your question – you want to know if it is worth going up to 16%. In my opinion – absolutely. Someone might differ. It is purely a decision that you must make on your own. Understand that the only time you will be charged any of that 16% is when you actually sell an item and only if the customer actually got to your booth via the advertising. In most cases, you do not pay the full percentage even if they bought your item because of the advertising. I hope this all makes sense/cents…and I hope this answers your question. Oh yes, from what I understand, you cannot pick and choose which of your items that will be advertised. It is strictly all or nothing. I am rather new on Bonanza, but this is how I understand it all works.

Remember though, you need to understand that you may just pay that percentage (16% or whatever you choose) on all your sales. I went through a very long period where every single sale was through advertising. Not one came in on its own…which means that the advertising worked, I guess. :) I had 13% at the time and paid 13% on every single sale.
