Choose a us shipping option? on free shipping

I’ve been wondering this for awhile but am just now getting around to asking.
We choose “Free Shipping” on all of our listings (no international). But every time I list an item and get to the end it “suggests” that I “add a US shipping option”. For the life of me I can’t see ANYWHERE to input the carrier we use (UPS).
What am I missing?

Hi! I get that message too, at the bottom…. it’s probably just a quirk. The Add An Item always seems to have some bug or other.

Not really sure where you see the “suggests’ that I add a US shipping option”…

On my free shipping listings I do not see that..however, it is a suggestion and you don’t have to worry about it..

If you charged for shipping either a flat rate or calculated, the options to choose your shipping with does appear with the options to choose USPS/UPS…

Simply click on flat rate/or calculated and explore the set up, but since you are using free..it really does not make that much of a difference

If you wish your buyers to know that you are shipping UPS you can actually add the information automatically to all your listings

Items ship within…you have Ships in 1 business day you can quite a bit more informaion to that box…example…

Items are sent using UPS and ships with 1 business days or something like that..

I agree. I just opened a booth, have 9 listings posted and every one of them put up that message that I needed to select a shipping option even though I did. Must just be a bug; each one posted anyway.

An additional concern to this is that with free shipping, a buyer doesn’t know how their package will arrive.

I’d like to let my buyers know whether their free shipping will arrive via UPS or USPS, etc. Some buyers would like to know that.
