Could anyone have a good look at my store and let me know what is wrong??

I was very excited to join Bonanza a few months back… I am on a jewellery forum on LinkedIn and everyone was shouting praises to Bonanza and saying that Etsy does not work but Bonanza does.. so I went into the trouble of a few days to importing all products from Etsy and uploading them on Bonanza… subscribed to gold immediately.. and hey presto… nothing… I never even had one single purchase or comment. I sell regularly on Etsy.. but never on Bonanza.. what I am doing wrong here?? So curious to get an honest and objective reply

You booth and items look great

You have your traits, the few items I checked are in google…

Personally, I feel memberships do better if you are already established for the tools help with upgrading..increasing what is already there. Many new members immediately sign up for them, without actually establishing themselves first.

As you said you do well on etsy, but I believe it took time for you to work up to that level of sales. If buyers already know you there, that is where they will go to look for your items. You will need to ‘re-establish’ yourself here and that will take time

But, since you have the membership, use the tools, Put in some booth panels with information, sign up for google analytics to see what keywords are bringing people to your item.

Another suggestion…Actually give your booth a Name
Edit Booth Options
Basic Settings (the very first option)
Booth Name (and you do not have to have the word Booth in the name)
Personalize/brand your avatar/banner to your name

Your items are beautiful, but there is a lot of competition and many go to other sites for such items. Also, being out of the US may also make things harder competing

Good Luck and welcome to bonanza

Hello Balilux I love your items they are all very nice :) I used to sell on Etsy and I am now with Bonanza as of 2 months ago and I have 103 sales on Bonanza as of today so I figured maybe I can offer some friendly [URL removed]

First I had to understand what Google and other search engines like and don’t like (I found info on this somewhere here on bonanza) so that your items are picked to show up when someone searches for your item on the internet. An example of this is when an item name is too long or has all uppercase letters or special characters but I didn’t see to much of that in your booth :)

Second thing I learned was SEO and Item Traits and how to apply it to my items. Without mastering these two things your items will not show for people looking for jewelry like yours :( For example,Lets imagine that Im looking for a necklace like your beautiful large trendy flower necklace you sell. So think of what would I put in my google search engine to find your necklace. I would put Classy unique elegant trendy large feminine necklace and see what google gave me. So knowing what keywords people would put to find your item, you should include as many of those words in your item name so Google and other search engines will pick yours to show me :)Item traits work the same way, but are limited and can be tricky on bonanza, there is a lot of help on here to master your item traits, these are a must because this is what search engines use to showcase your [URL removed]

Third thing I learned was sometimes too much info is too much and turns people off. Ive played around with long and short item descriptions and keeping it short but sweet worked the best. ALSO SUPER HELPFULL put Your website address in your description (bonanza booth public address)to let them know there is lots more jewelry you have. Most people come from Google shopping and they don’t see you have a whole booth but if you put your bonanza website at the bottom and let them know there is lots more some for SURE are going to click on it and look at everything :)

Lastly some [URL removed]
Upgrade to Silver Pro its only $25 a month its way worth it you get more traffic and options and sales period.

Find the area for Marketing and Advertising in your booth and select ALL of them! Its the section that asks you if you want your items to show on other search engine websites you are going to pay a % for the add fee. There are two rows of search engine provider with commission % up to %16. I have all of them checked because Id rather pay the %16 in commissions than have $0 :)

Your store name helps google bring people to you. I sell minecraft decorations so I named my booth Minecraft Party Supplies….. Its a SEO thing I think :)

Get a Pintrist page and pin each one of your items from your booth and name it something like Trendy Classy Jewelry, Pintrist pages are free and super easy to set up and I get 10% of my traffic from mine :)

Feedback Helps and I noticed you don’t have feedback, if you have sold somewhere else you can import your feedback into your bonanza booth and buyers will feel more at ease making a purchase from you :)

Create Categories, You need the silver pro package I think for this but you have a lot of items that should be organized, this helps people to find you and what they are looking for fast and easy.

More Pictures for each item, more pictures equal a better listing that will get more views :) You can import a cvs file from other websites you’ve sold on to make it easier.

I hope this helps, Im looking at my stats everyday and learning what works and what doesn’t. I come to the community pages and read all I can to learn how to improve my [URL removed] I also look at other booths that are doing really good to see how they are wording things and what they are doing. Good luck and contact me anytime if you need anything :) I love that necklace BTW gonna put it on my wishlist for Christmas :)

Wow, what a lot of great information about the Silver Package and how to succeed. I’ve been on Etsy, doing great with 250 orders, here NO orders…I think it’s because I tried the FREE for a year. Now that our busy season is almost here, I’m going to do some of your suggestions!
