Delayed shipping

I have a customer who wants to delay shipment until we get in a specific style in an item she already paid for (but another style). We will get it in within 1-2 wks but she also does not want to be refunded.
Is this ok? I don’t want to get in trouble for not shipping.

I would run that by the payment processor and Bonanza support before doing that in this day and age.
Unless you were paid by check or money order, I believe both parties (Buyer and Seller)would need to be in written agreement with the payment processor and Bonanza to cover the bases.

Haven’t had a request of delayed shipping in a while, but never had any problem with it…

I do not think bonz has any policies or problems with it as they try to interfere as little as necessary with your seller policies…you may get a reminder about shipping and or feedback, but it is not really required to record either one immediately or at all

But as mentioned above, I do not know how PP may deal with it..as I said in the past, I did not have any issue with it…I do know that on PayPal, there is the option of entering Tracking is not necessary which will probably work there, and then add the tracking here when you have so there is a record

It has worked just fine for me in the past – not a problem! The largest concern was that it impacted my shipping speed rating. But the buyer and I were both in agreement about the arrangement, so that is what was most important to me!
To help the shipping speed rating, if I know the weight and size of the package, I will pre-print a label as soon as possible in order to have a tracking number to give bonanza/paypal. Again, I’m sure that the buyer knows that even though the tracking number is entered, the package will not ship until the agreed time.
This has worked very well for me in the past!
