When I sell digital delivery items and the transaction is compete and successful the sales page is always displaying “not shipped”. I have been selecting shipped and choosing other as the method and leaving no tracking number.
Is this the correct way ?

You have to MARK the item as shipped on the transaction page even though you do not have to enter a tracking number. You can always enter “delivered by email transaction” or something like that in the notes or the tracking data field.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Perhaps someone will come along with a better way but I think your options are limited.

Mark the item as shipped, select other as the shipping method as you have done and type in esale as your tracking number. This will show your item as being shipped.
