Does bonanza send automated emails to our buyers

When a buyer makes a purchase, do they get an automated email confirmation of the purchase? Can any communications with buyers be automated such as "thanks for your purchase, your item ships…, etc?I f so where do we set this up?

Buyers are notified (sent an email) when they make a purchase, with their a listing of the items, cost, shipping, transaction number and any instructions that they may need. When you mark an item shipped/add tracking, then the buyer is again notified of shipping…you can personalize message before it is sent. Unless it is a recent addition as far as I know there is no way for sellers to set up an automated message.

I ship same day, so it is usually quick enough to just do as ccmom says and just add a message to the shipping notification. I keep a Word document with several messages on it that I copy and paste to make it quick and easy.

If for some reason shipping will be delayed, I send them a message using the “Send them a message” link on the sales record telling them their order was received and when it will go out.
