Fvf question when a buyer purchases directly from within bonanza

Hello.

A shopper made a purchase after making a search on Bonanza and went to my listing.

Are we now being charged 9 percent no matter what?

I have my advertising percentage set to 9 percent.

The reason I know that it was direct is because under my booth stats and sold items, I see one that says direct.

Thanks,

Sharon

Hmmmmm Seems for a while, whatever I have set as pctg it VERY seldom comes out lower than that number. Seems you may have some proof but Really, How do we know actually. I guess I am just glad for the sale here though. HAGD

I also had one that was a direct link..it said so, but I know because I gave them the link…

thinking now that if there are any ad clicks on it…you will get charged, even if it is a direct link or internal search

I use the referral code on all social media…guess it wasn’t necessary for a direct link to item provided by me…from now on…I will always add the referral when I make special listings for buyers…

It is what Cindy said. But please also see my second post…thanks

I think they will change you 9% because the logic is that you made this sale through them / their marketplace and that you wouldn’t have made it otherwise, so you owe them the 9%.

actually bonz has a tiered fee…with allowences for free or for min of 3.5% thorugh organic searches…

ccmom says: September 20, 2020

she asked the question because at one time a direct internal search sale was only susposed to be a 3.5% fee..however, that does no longer appears to be the case

EmpressDepot says: September 21, 2020

Right, it is what Cindy said. That’s too bad that it is no longer 3.5 percent FVF direct within Bonanza site search.

Thank you for the clarification, Cindy….. and others for your comments.

I guess we will not be charged over 9 percent with a sale directly from a Bonanza site wide search? Like say if someone has their advertising percentage set above 9 percent, it will never be over 9 percent with this example ?

do you know where to find your referral code to add to your URL’s posted at other places…like FB, twitter, Pinterest etc

EmpressDepot says: October 10, 2020

No, I do not. Can u tell me

I have had a couple of 3.5% sales this month, so it seems that level still exists. I do not know where those customers came from (whether an internal Bonanza search or via a direct link). I do use the “free referral” links when I post on social or on my websites.

That is odd. I guess I am going to have to read through the links that were left. Thanks for posting.

ccmom says: September 24, 2020

you can still get 3.5% with the referral link and google organic…

Thanks for the tip on Google organic, Cindy.
