I’m hypervigilant about removing items that are out of stock, and then relisting them when they’re back in stock.
I usually just put items on reserve.

1. Does this hurt my rating with Google shopping if I put an item on reserve, after they’ve posted it to google shopping, and then since it takes a while for GS to update, their links to my items will be dead if I put items on reserve?
2. Or do they hate it even more if I have out of stock items listed?
3. To get Google luv (or prevent google hate) should I put out of stock items on reserve or use trait [[[URL removed] of stock]]???

4. Since Google gives more credence to listings that are older, wouldn’t it be better to put items as “out of stock” rather than on reserve?

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
