Have i been scammed?

I made a purchase and about 10 minutes later I decided to ask a question. When i clicked on the Sellers site I received a message they were not listed on Bonanza. I have no way to get in touch with them, but I did notify Bonanza. I haven’t heard back from them yet, but wondering should i put a stop payment on my credit card for this purchase?

Go to your account dashboard

Click on Purchases
Purchased

There should be an invoice for your purchase. Click on it and then on the item you purchased.

Should take you back to the item/booth..which should have a contact seller link

Take it from there (sometimes the regular search for a seller does not always come up correctly or without results)

Really wish they would put the seller search link back…have no idea why they took it out

The seller, Leticia_Goodman is no longer active on Bonanza. You can communicate with them directly via the payment method you used to pay the seller (eg, PayPal) by logging into the payment method and viewing the transaction. If you have not received your item from this seller to your satisfaction or in the time frame you were promised, we would recommend that you file a claim with the payment method you used to pay the seller.

If no satisfaction from Paypal, then if you paid by Credit Card, file a claim with them.

I’ve had this happen to me before. I was worried about losing my $$, but I searched my PayPal and the transaction didn’t appear on it. So either I was reimbursed (doubt it, as I think the whole transaction would have shown) or I was never charged in the first place.

This is something new and shocking. Never have i or any of my friends encounter anything near a scam on bonanza. I guess they have to step up their security checks now. [URL removed]

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
