Hello! We have over 5000 Bonanza items in our booth. We originally imported them from EBay. Consequently, many of them do not have SKUs. They all, of course, have unique Bonanza-generated “item ids”, but the CSV file does not work with Bonanza Item IDs, only SKUs as far as I have tested.
When I try to upload a CSV file with Bonanza Item Ids in the “ID” column, the items are Imported, not Updated. So I end up with, for example, my original item with Bonanza ID of 1234567 and another separate item with a SKU of 1234567!
How do I get a CSV file to match an existing item on Bonanaza Item ID, not SKU? Is that possible?
(Also, I cannot use the Bonanza API to update quantities for thousands of items either as Bonanza limits the number of API calls per day… so I am really stuck here)
Thanks for any help! (Perhaps I am missing something obvious?)

Hello @prmagic,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble. Listings imported from eBay cannot be updated via CSV File. Only listings that have been originally uploaded via CSV file can be managed via CSV. Certain conditions must be true
1) id column must be used and cannot ever change
2) listings must have been originally uploaded via CSV
3) force_update set to TRUE must be included in the CSV file. It is force_update set to TRUE that is the mechanism that triggers posting changes.
If your inventory is changing on eBay and you want it to update in your Bonanza booth, you will want to turn on your eBay sync. You can do this from the “My Booth > Import from eBay” page by clicking the “Import items” button (when that button is visible, it means your inventory sync is currently turned off). If you are changing other aspects of your listings on eBay (price, title, description, images, etc), you will want to update your advanced import options to “Revise previously imported listings” prior to importing your items. Otherwise, the sync feature will skip the listings which already exist in your booth and changes will not be copied to Bonanza.
While the importer is designed to remove listings which are sold on eBay from your Bonanza booth, it will not remove any items which have been manually ended by the seller on eBay for the following reasons (you will need to manually remove these listings from your Bonanza booth, as well):
-Item no longer available
-Damaged or lost item
-Error in listing
Hope that information helps and we apologize for any inconvenience. Let us know at our support department if you have additional [URL removed]
