We are selling wedding bands that have variations in color and ring size. We only have one place to input a SKU so we are wondering how the order comes through (we haven’t sold anything yet) to make sure everything is clear.
Typically, for most of our channels, we have a unique SKU for each variation. If you have sold variations, please let me know how the order shows up for you. Thanks.
Also, are there email alerts?

To be clear, we are aware that most of our products do not have variations. We do, however, have some that do have variations and most will be converted to variations soon.

I looked at a few of your items and it looks you do not have variations for your listings, but appears you set up single listings for all your variations.
I would assume that each of the single listings have a unique SKU (this is for your personal inventory)..if the item sells you will be notified of the listing that sold if it had variations set up then you would be also told which variation.
You can check the listing for which item you sold.
If you wish to have a single listing with size/style/stone etc variations, choose the “Many Sizes/Colors/Style/Stone/Metal” Option each option and enter the option and quantitiy that you have…

Remember these tips:
- Use links to other sources to support your opinions
- Use examples where possible
- Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?
Should I post a comment or an answer?
You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?
Post an answer for:
- Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question
Post a comment for:
- "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
- When you would like the original poster to provide more details
- When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
