How do you write the UPC code in the listing? Do you add a hyphen between the numbers so it is recognized correctly.

Do you mean in the copy of your products listing? Or, do you mean adding a UPC for search engines? If it’s the latter, don’t use hyphens. Only use the 11-13 digit number.

Hello Secondhandswank,

Thanks for your question. For UPC or MPN numbers, you should not enter spaces, dashes, or hyphens in it, just add the numbers and you’ll be good to go.

In my listings I just put all the numbers one right after the other.

You could use bullets and make one of the bullets like this…

UPC : 123456789123
