Discount coupons are for all items..no choice
If you wish to just reduce the price of an item…would be best to just edit it and lower it
If you wish to mark down several items [URL removed]
Update Items as a Group (Batch edit)
Under “Item Basics” over to the far right
Apply Discount put in percentage discount and then select items you wish to reduce and click on the “Apply Changes” button (this will remain until you reverse it)…this reduces the price of the selected items but does not show as a discount to the buyer
Under that it [URL removed] Apply discount as a visible markdown. Learn more.
If at some future date you decide to get a gold or higher membership, then the markdown will be a “visible” markdown
But to discount only certain items using the coupon option is not possible
If this has changed, it is a recent change
