Are you saying that AFTER you paid your bill (manually or automatically through withdrawal), that you were still able to apply 500 tokens? What did the tokens get applied to? If you had paid your bill, the balance should have been $0 prior to applying tokens.
Just in case, you should check to see what you were actually charged when you paid the bill. Perhaps, the $1 (from tokens) was deducted from the total prior to completion of payment.
