The package was open, it’s obvious, but I’m the only one that got the mail

I know that the Post Office would NOT receive a package that was NOT properly sealed in the first place. If it arrived OPEN, PO has a stamp that they put on it that states it had opened (or damaged) in transit. If it was opened AFTER it was delivered, then it appears you did NOT have a secure location to receive your package and YOU are a victim of Porch Pirates. If you are expecting a package that will not fit in your mail box or slot, best to contact a neighbor and have them get your package until you are able to get it from them. If the package had tracking, you should be able to approximate what day you will receive it if you look at the tracking progress.
Really, there is NOTHING the seller can do once the package is handed over to the PO or whatever carrier they used. Once you hand it over to the carrier, it is their responsibility to deliver it in the condition they received it. Even if you purchased Insurance from the PO, it does not cover missing contents or Porch Pirates once the item is marked as delivered.
My suggestion is to contact your carrier and ask if the package was delivered in the open condition that you say you received it in.

Agree with Atomic
Post Office won’t accept damaged packaging.
If the package is damage during transit, the Post Office stamps and bags the item with a note inside about the damage.
Definitely, check with the post office about the delivery and condition.
Then, file a police report.
You should keep the package and take pictures for reporting.
