I need help finding a category for my products

I have my pet memorial portraits under pet supplies/ Memorials & Urns, but I’m having a terrible time finding a category for the memorials for children and families. I had no problem setting different sizes they could choose from with a different price on each for my pet portraits. In some categories, it says Google will not approve items that are new if there is no UPC or MPN. I don’t have that because the work I do is custom. I’m trying to list framing and wrapped canvas prints and need to be able to add sizes & prices in the same listing. Help is appreciated!

I found a category that will work, but still need to know if not having a upc or mrn is going to negatively effect my listing on Google Shopping

If you mark the listing as new, the identifier exists false attribute is “supposed” to take care of listings that are new but with no UPC. In my opinion, most of your listings will still show up in Google shopping because of this.

You can also look at it this way, if buyers are searching Google shopping and see a listing similar to yours that says new and they see yours showing as used, more than likely they will first click on the one that says new.

Use ‘New Without Tags’ and I remember someone using ‘handmade’ under brand. Also, in the description you can use this attribute in this format [[identifier_[URL removed] This attribute will not show when you save you description, but your items should get into Google Shopping. I hope this helps.

awesome, I’ll do that

Maybe do a search for similar items, and see what categories other sellers have used to post those types of items?

Thanks, I looked but it wasn’t much help. I did find a category I can list my sizes and prices.

I always list my handmade items as New without tags. Just checked my handmade items and they are listed as “used”. They are new and unused. The explanation is that items listed as “new without tags” google considers used if there is no upc. How do you put a upc on a handmade item? This ticks me off. I’m thinking I’ll put a notice on all my handmade items that because of google they are listed as used when they are actually new and unused. Any thoughts on that?

It says Google Shopping rejects all items marked new without the code. Read ABIGDOGMOM’s answer. It might help.

Try calling 1-866-2-google. This is supposed to be a phone number to get a hold of them by.

[URL removed] one eight six six 2 google (the numbers were hard for me to see, so I wanted to spell them out in case this was happening to anyone else.

As big dog says, use the attribute of [[identifier_[URL removed]

BUT, use New as condition. Google only recognizes New, Used, or Refurbished as item conditions.
