Is it possible to block a buyer?

I had a buyer make a large purchase and open a case with Pay Pal saying it was an unauthorized transaction. She lost..I thought a block button would be nice. :)

Would be nice to list that buyers name ID for the rest of us to possibly beware of. If it happens once to you, it will most likely happen to others (a Problem Buyer).

I had the same thing happen. The buyer bought a 80.00 item then filed a charge-back with her credit card saying that it was a recurring charge she had cancelled.

You can block individual buyers or set buyer requirements based on specific criteria. If you’ve had an issue with a buyer and don’t want them [URL removed] to purchase or bid on your items, you can add them to your Blocked buyers list. They’ll be unable to place bids or buy from you until you remove them from the list.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
