Is the postage cheaper if paid for online also once postage has been paid and printed does the tracking get automatically submitted

Is the postage cheaper if paid for online also once postage has been paid and printed does the tracking get automatically submitted because it is always a pain to submit tracking one number at a time that would be of great benefit to me because the numbers on the USPS receipts are way to small to input them correctly on the mark as shipped page. Thank you so much and look forward to all and any improvements in the near future and patiently waiting for a bonanza rewards program like ebay bucks that would bring back return customers especially the ones from the advertising partners for which we pay an arm and leg if a item is sold through them. So everyone request this addition that customers will earn coins for purchasing an item and then use the coins on future purchases.

Online postage is always cheaper than at the PO..but most just use Paypal to print shipping labels…then copy/paste the tracking here..you do not have to pay extra for tracking on First Class, express, and priority online at PP either

If you would like to use paypal and your buyer purchased through Paypal….just click on the link provided in PP that says Print shipping label….if they did not use paypal, then use the shipnow link and enter their information and print postage

You can also set up an account at USPS Click n Ship and pay online for postage, especially regional rate boxes/padded envelope which are not offered through paypal

As to your questions about bonanza’s new shipping labels, they charge the online reduced cost + $.95 (bonanza’s handling fee)..but since they were just introduced you may want to ask the question at the blog for answers from support for the adding tracking (ps even if they didn’t, you can still use copy/paste option)

I use Paypal for my shipping. It is cheaper and I don’t wait at the Post Office. I can easily send the tracking number in an email to my buyer. I don’t see any benefit (except to Bonanza) with the new shipping labels. I wish they would spend more time on things that will benefit everyone.

Parcel select (or whatever Parcel Post became) also has tracking included. I only pay separately for tracking ($0.23 on line) when I use media mail.

Also, if you think that the regional boxes, A, B or C are the less costly option, you can only get them at USPS.com. I’ve definitely saved a lot of money using the regional rate A. Of course it has to be a special box, similar to the flat rate boxes. I use both PP and USPS.com

As far as adding the tracking number, as CCMOM suggested, I just copy/paste the tracking number from the PP email I get into Bonanza.

Now as far as the new Bonanza shipping, I just noticed it the other day. For me, it’s not worth the $0.95 as I’ve been using PP or USPS.com for so long. But for those who have been paying for postage at the Post Office, even with the Bonanza fee, you should still realize a savings on most Priority Mail options. This will not be the case for Parcel Post or Media mail. Note there is an on-line savings for first class parcel, but the savings is not great enough to cover the Bonanza fee.

thank you, I do not use parcel so I did not know that tracking was added online for it..I did know it was at the PO

I use endicia shipping. They charge a monthly fee. But with reduced rates I still save over regular shipping. They also have what they call stealth. Which does not show the buyer what you paid. It helps to cover the cost of gas and supplies to get the items to the post office. Everybody is so touchy if you do not offer free shipping. But if you do the guy two States over loses cause you have to figure in shipping world wide.

With Paypal, you can “hide” the actual postage cost, too. I haven’t figured out how to do that on USPS.com, though, but I don’t use it often enough to worry about it.

I use PayPal now link as mentioned above, however, I use USPS Regional Rate A and B boxes often, and unfortunately PayPal does not have regional rate for purchase. So, I end up going to USPS.com to print regional rate labels.

The other day I noticed the bonanza shipping labels. The cost is higher, but out of convenience I might use that option one day. I just wish PayPal labels or even USPS.com labels were integrated into the bonanza system. Perhaps the label printing is integrated and I am unaware.
