Is there a list somewhere that defines the international country locations?

I’m wondering what countries are included, or excluded, when the choice is “Europe” or “Asia” or “N. and S. America.” For example, does Europe include the Scandanavian countries and “border” nations like Belarus and Ukraine? Does Asia include Russia? Does N. and S. American include the entire hemisphere, such as Panama and Nicaragua?

Russia is in Europe and Asia.
The biggest part of this country is in Asia, but ~ 75% of the Russian population lives in the European part.

If You are e.g. in Moscow, then You are in Europe, when You pass the Ural Mountains, You will be in Asia.

The Russian Federation is a unique country for many reasons. All those who live beyond the Urals, in Asia, live below the poverty line. Those who live in the European part of the Russian Federation live more or less normally. Although of course not very good with average salaries of less than $500 per month. I am glad that I left the Russian Federation with the help of [URL removed] . This site helped me to solve all the problems with my passport and visa.
