Is there a way to change a default option?

In the batch editor and also on other pages the “Sort [URL removed]” box is set for “Popularity”.

I don’t use this option at all (when I prepare listings) and each time I have to choose different one.

Is there a way to set the option I use the most as a default?

“you can set it for your self and it will be that way for the entire log in session”

Hm, so maybe it’s also membership option, because in my case EACH single time it’s going back to “popularity”, that’s why I’ve asked.
If it stayed on my choice at least through the entire session, I would be [URL removed]

You are right, I see it’s kept in both, but I really need it to be default in the batch… Thank you for your so helpful attitude. Let me declare You as a Honorary Admin of this forum – you really deserve it!

It used to that, stay at what you were working on, but I think some updates to the layout of the batch edit (about the time they changed the name to “Update Items as a Group*) the ’batch edit” things did not (at least to me) appear to work as smoothly

It seems with the addition of more and more features..some of the more smoothly working simplicity drops by the wayside…I kind of like our older simpler editor…got the job done and did not have to spend so much time “fixing things”…LOL

Yes and No

The batch editor will always go back to the default after each search…

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you have a membership you can re-sort your first 100 items in your booth (Seller’s Pick) and then pick a secondary sort of Highest, Lowest, Name, Newest as a secondary sort, but everyone else’s booth will still be on whatever sort they chose or the default sort…
then this will be what it goes back to after every search in Batch edit
The default sort tends to change every couple of years…when I first came it was Highest, then it was Newest, now it is Popularity
Also…
Every time you log in you can set it for your self and it will be that way for the entire log in session…whether in your booth or anyone else’s…then it resets to default when you log out
The batch editor will always go back to the default after each search…I was talking about browsing booths…if you have membership it will default to what you set your booth sorting to…(in batch edit)
While I already knew about changing session sort from “Popularity” (default) to something else for my entire log in session, it seems a while back we used to be able to control our sort default (and it would stick) for the sequence others would see when viewing your booth. Now it appears you cant unless you are a PRO Member. ( option Custom Sort Customize how items sort in your booth. ) Not that my sales are stellar here but I cant afford to pay a fee now for Pro and it did seem that my sales dropped off after this change option thru subscription went into effect. I still prefer to sort default by highest price (my best stuff) rather than some search engine sort of popularity. Just my own personal preference but not going to pay a yearly subscription just to do it.
Thank you for your answer, Atomicdiner. " I still prefer to sort default by highest price…" Me [URL removed] because it’s standard, this way I remember better my items and I use to find them from the list (when I need to choose some different items) not through filter (this I use to find singular or simi
