Is there an app or way to block my computer's isp address from effecting item view stats?

I’ve heard of such a thing existing, but am not sure what it was called.

I actually don’t even know how to properly refer to such a thing…it’s just something I heard or read about not long ago, buried in the sea of millions of hours of surfing and net mktg.

Anyone know what I refer to, or know if such a thing would work here?

If I don’t stop my own views of my booth items from showing up in Booth and Item Views, it seems I won’t get an accurate view of my views, as I’m editing a lot to make my stuff more optimized.

Oh, awesome. Thanks. I’ve seen that but never really checked it out much. I just changed my settings to NOT have visits from administrators of “my site” to be counted toward view analytics…hopefully that includes me, and it won’t count my own visits. Thanks a bunch!

I’m not seeing this. My stats include my views and it’s frustrating. In Item View [URL removed] These stats do include you looking at your own items There HAS to be a way to exclude your own views.

Hi, you didn’t mention what op system you’re using but here’s a link from/to google that may help.

To Answer Brilliantly

Remember these tips:

  • Use links to other sources to support your opinions
  • Use examples where possible
  • Put yourself in the inquirers shoes: what extra info would be helpful?

Should I post a comment or an answer?

You can only post one answer, so make it count. Maybe your reply is more fitting as a comment instead?

Post an answer for:

  • Replies that directly and specifically answer the original question

Post a comment for:

  • "Thanks," "Me too," "I agree," or "Works for me" types of replies
  • When you would like the original poster to provide more details
  • When you have more to add to someone else's question or answer
