Item stats

Hi All,

I was wondering if you can help me understand the Item Stats. There are two things I don’t understand. 1. After an aggressive marketing effort, my item views have gone from about 400 a day to 5,000 or better for the past two months, but the chart at the top shows sharp ups and downs and the left side of the graph remains stuck in the 200-400 range. Can’t figure out what’s up with that! And, 2. In the “Most Popular Items” section, I consistently see items that have only 1-5 views in weeks where some items get 20-30 and many get 7 or more. Again, can’t figure out how Bonanza is reporting my numbers. Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

It’s complicated, perhaps you need to write directly to support [URL removed] your inquiry. Also as a former seller, here, I encourage you to remember, although views are important, sales are more important than views are. I wish you all the very best. :) This link might help you – [URL removed]

The graph itself is a recent addition and I am unclear as to the parameters it is actually measuring…and I do not know what you have set at the top…could be measuring actual (people) views or total views (people + bots)

In the past, the total item views were running tallies..and are usually updated on the weekends..not sure it still true

Also, item views can also include bot crawls (the views increase quickly everytime an item is tweeted/facebook/pinned…bots crawl almost immediately), you can remove them from the numbers..so most popular is probably not counting bot crawls…

but then again, things have changed and I may be totally wrong

Change the option to DO NOT SHOW CRAWLERS. This will be a more realistic look at which items are viewed.
